Carbon Initiative Forum is a non-profit that aims to empower people, particularly the youth through the mainstreaming of climate policy in education. Individuals also get to ask the right questions to the right people. More knowledge to people!
Our vision
Educating and engaging the youth is a vital tool to affect restorative change on our planet. Carbon Initiative Forum offers this platform to address the acute need for awareness on climate policy. On our platform, we envision engaging with communities, schools, universities and think tanks to showcase and explain how we impact the planet and what we could do at the formal education and policy level to reduce this impact.
Our vision is to become a national platform, growing and collated by the people. We want to make climate education a compulsory curriculum for all levels of education in the country. We are counting on you to enable a larger movement and consequently a larger impact towards halting climate change.

Knowledge is Power!
India has over 220 million people in the age group of 14 - 28 years. At Carbon Initiative Forum we believe that youth empowered by the knowledge of what’s and how’s of climate change and related policies can make a significant difference. This massive demographic of energetic and imaginative individuals is capable of a tsunami of positive change.
We lead the change
Our planet is at the brink of irreversible climate change due human induced actions. We have already started to witness the impacts of this change, be it ocean acidification, droughts, devastating storms, etc. We are a resilient species and it is our responsibility to sustain all living species on this planet. CIF will ensure that it shall take the lead in this resilience.
