Between 2006 and 2009 Mr. Alfred E. Rieck, a native Holland, was the managing director in charge of the Skoda brand in Germany. In this capacity, Mr. Rieck led his team in successfully elevating the ranking of the Skoda brand in Germany from the No. 1 in 2009. Mr. Alfred E. Rieck is now the President of Skoda Auto China and Executive Vice President of Volkswagen Group China. Mr. Rieck brings with him to Skoda China his diversified and abundant experience in sales, marketing, strategy and product planning in the automobile industry. Mr. Rieck will consolidate the management capacity in further strengthening the market position and rapid development of Skoda in China. He speaks six languages including English, German, French, Swedish and Portuguese.
