China Investment Forum is a platform that actively supports economic dialog, investment flow and trade development between Europe and China by connecting representatives of both, and by providing first-hand information about hot economic issues, current business opportunities and investment climate.

China Investment Forum 2011 attracted 519 participants from 13 countries (mainly CEE). All sectors of business, industry and services were represented. Media were presented at the Forum and more than 80 media from both Europe and China published an article.

The forum was divided into 2 sections:

  • China Investment Forum (November 8) brought to Prague prominent experts on China to present fresh ideas and join debate on current economic topics and future trends in and beyond China.
  • Business Day (November 9) was the Source of comprehensive, unbiased, up-to-date information on entering and succeeding in China. The section helped European business managers and decision makers in planning their next steps for China and network with the Chinese participants.

China Investment Forum was held under the patronage of the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic and in co-operation with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.

Following the successful second year the forum will take place again in November 2012 in Prague.
